REGISTERED NURSE
Reports to: Director of Nursing
RN Provides services to clients in accordance with the State Nurse
Practice Act, agency policy, and accepted professional standards of
practice. The Registered Nurse provides nursing services utilizing a
comprehensive base of nursing theory and nursing process, and
communicates/ documents observations and assessments.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN, preferred.
Licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute care setting or
equivalent experience. Must be able to communicate effectively
verbally and in writing. Good interpersonal communication skills. Must possess a current driver’s license, with a good driving record, as will use
own transportation for company business. Must have experience in
providing health care delivery services for individuals with functional
disabilities.
Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all
Segments of the staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors,
Advisory Board, and Medical Director, Director of Nursing Administration
and Administration. Shall be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
